About Your Team
I'm Amanda and although I'm originally from Pennsylvania, I have been a Dental Assistant here at Lake Nona Family Dentistry since 2014. I consider the dental team here to be more than just co-workers. They are my Florida family and we all share a passion for making a positive difference in our patients' lives.I relish the confidence I see in each one of their smiles. My goal is to make sure every patient is comfortable so that his or her experience with us is both pleasant and educational.
In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, shopping, and traveling with my boyfriend. Together, we savor exploring new restaurants, delving into new television shows, and spending time with our family and friends.
I'm Elsa and I have been working in the dental field since 2015. In my role as Office Manager, my passion is to facilitate the process by which our patients achieve a healthy, gorgeous smile. My primary motivation every day is to support our doctors and team members so they can deliver the world-class dental care that our patients need and deserve.
When not at work, you can find me baking cakes and spending time with my husband and two kids.
In my role as a Dental Assistant here at Lake Nona Family Dentistry, I am dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience that goes beyond creating a comfortable atmosphere and state-of-the-art hygienic treatment; I want to educate our patients about all aspects of their oral health and how they can develop hygienic practices that will ensure a lifetime of healthy smiles. My goal with each patient is to help deliver a pleasant, pain-free experience that establishes a positive association with their visits to our office.
When the workday is over, I find great and joy and fulfillment in spending time with my family and coaching my daughter's cheer-leading team.
I'm a native Floridian (born and raised in St. Cloud) and I consider myself truly fortunate to have found my place as a Dental Hygienist here at Lake Nona. Prior to my work in dental health, I was a competitive gymnast and coach for ten years. I now have over six years of experience as a hygienist and I am dedicated to continuing my education in order to update, expand, and refine my expertise in dental patient care.
Outside of my work in dental health, I delight in traveling to new places, spending time with my family, and most importantly, taking the time to spoil Luna, my Labrador retriever (who is as sweet as she is lazy).
I'm Shany and I am delighted to be your Dental Hygienist. After completing my dental studies in 2016 and being accredited as a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist, I relocated here from South Florida. I gained experience working with patients with special needs, treating patients with dental anxieties, and working alongside a pediatric dentist before moving on to work with Dr. Ahmed. It has been a rewarding experience to use state-of-the-art technology to help educate our patients while providing them with the best care possible.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and our puppy, Little Man. Furthermore, my husband and I have discovered that the key to maintaining a positive work/life balance is to always find time to travel abroad and explore the rich diversity of countries and cultures around the world.
I'm Shermaine and as a Business Assistant, I find true joy in being a part of each patient's dental journey. You can count on me to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where our amazing team will provide you with the highest quality of oral health care.
When not at the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family.
I'm Pamela and I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2012. I was welcomed into the Lake Nona family in 2016 and I feel particularly privileged to be working with such a dedicated and talented dental team. I enjoy welcoming new patients and helping them to obtain a beautiful, healthy smile.
I'm a Florida girl with Puerto Rican roots and I enjoy spending time with my family in the great outdoors. This past June, my husband Lester and I welcomed the arrival of our baby girl, Nora. She is the light of our lives and the newest addition to our family, which also includes Ozzy, our 12-year-old Australian shepherd.
I'm Hend and I am originally from Egypt, where I was born and raised. I attended dental school there until my graduation in 2008. I practiced as a dentist for three years and relocated to Australia, where I worked as a community volunteer while continuing my studies and dental training. Eventually, I came here to Florida with my husband and two beautiful kids.
Now, we are residents of Orlando, where I obtained my license as a Dental Hygienist and joined the outstanding dental team here at Lake Nona Family Dentistry. When the work week is done, my family loves spending time together and exploring theme parks.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, my love for the New England Patriots is surpassed only by my passion for dentistry. I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2013 and I am quite fortunate to work at Lake Nona Family Dentistry, where I consider my teammates and patients to be a second family. I am passionate about providing the kind of individualized patient care and education that leads to a lifetime of excellent oral health. When you visit our office, you can relax in the assurance that we are committed to providing you with the best dental experience possible.
Outside of dentistry, I am happiest when spending time with my family and seeking life's next great adventure!
My name is Diana Hurtado and I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. I graduated from dental school in 1995, and relocated to the United States in 2000. In 2005, I became a registered Dental Hygienist and found my way here to Lake Nona Family Dentistry! I am blessed to be a part of such a collaborative and mutually supportive dental care team. Working together, we deliver world-class care and I am continually delighted to play an important role in helping our patients achieve outstanding oral health.
During my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and playing games with my husband, children, and friends. Whether at work or at home, God is my center and my guide.

My name is Geraldine and I am originally from Venezuela. My first career was in professional journalism, but I discovered a passion for working with patients to provide effective and affordable dental health care. Following this new path led me to my role as a Business Assistant for Lake Nona Family Dentistry and the warm embrace of a dental family that elevates the quality of my work in every way.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling (especially road trips!) and spending time with family and my pet dog.
My name is Yariliz, but my dental family here at Lake Nona just calls me Yari. I am originally from Puerto Rico and joined the Lake Nona team in 2017 as a Dental Assistant. The best part of my job is helping our patients enjoy the health and aesthetic benefits of their sparkling, new smiles.
When not at the office, I like to spend time with my family.
This is our smart, lovely and sweet Manager. She is originally from Colombia 🇨🇴!! She’s the one that fixes everyones problems, the best at multitasking, and a great leader in the office. You can always count on her for encouraging words. Her calm demeanor comes in handy in chaotic moments. When she’s not at work, she’s spending time with her family and adorable daughter.
Stephanie De Sio Martos
My name is Stephanie originally born on the beautiful coast of Venezuela on the Island of Margarita. I enjoyed most of my childhood on the crystal clear beaches of Venezuela later relocating to the warm waters of Florida in the year 2000. I graduated as a dental assistant fall of 2018 and proudly joined the Lake Nona Family Dentistry team months later. As a dental assistant it brings me great honor when I see our patients leave with a confident happy smile and an educational outlook of their dental care.
On my downtime, I enjoy spending my time outdoors with friends, family and my furry companions.
